Which package suits you

Just starting out

Book a one-hour or two-hour lesson first. You will find out quickly how you go, and Ashraf will tell you honestly how many hours you are likely to need.

Working towards your test

Ten hours is the best value per hour. If you are under 25 it also records thirty Log Book hours, which is the fastest legitimate way to build your supervised total.

Test is already booked

The test day package covers eight hours plus your test day lesson and car hire. If you have done your hours already, book the car hire package on its own.

Learner Log Book hours and the 3-for-1 rule

If you are under 25, ten hours of lessons with an accredited instructor are recorded as thirty hours in your Learner Log Book under the Transport for NSW 3-for-1 rule. That is ten hours of structured instruction counting as thirty hours towards your supervised driving total, which is why the ten-hour package is the one most learners choose. The current rule and any conditions are published by Transport for NSW, and Ashraf will explain how it applies to your own Log Book.

Good to know

  • Lessons run seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm.
  • Multi-hour packages are scheduled as a series of lessons rather than one long block.
  • Test day car hire is subject to instructor approval and availability.
  • Buying a package does not guarantee a driving test result.

How to pay

Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. The ten-hour instalment plan lets you spread the cost across payments and includes a $10 administration fee, making it $710 in total.

Pricing questions

Is pick-up really included in the price?

Yes. Pick-up and drop-off within the service area is included in every price, with no travel surcharge. Ashraf covers Liverpool, Casula, Prestons, Warwick Farm, Moorebank, Edmondson Park, Hoxton Park, Lurnea, Chipping Norton, Hinchinbrook, Green Valley, Middleton Grange and Cecil Hills.

Is a package better value than single lessons?

Yes, and noticeably so. A single hour is $80, while ten hours works out at $70 an hour. Booking a package also helps you keep a regular rhythm rather than long gaps between drives, which is usually what slows learners down.

Do ten hours of lessons really count as thirty Log Book hours?

For learners under 25, yes. Transport for NSW allows each hour of structured instruction with an accredited instructor to be recorded as three hours in the Learner Log Book, up to ten hours. That is thirty of your supervised hours. Check the current rule on the Transport for NSW site, and Ashraf will record your hours after each lesson.

Can I pay the ten-hour package in instalments?

Yes. The instalment plan is $710 rather than $700, the difference being a $10 administration fee. Ask about it when you book.

What does the test day package actually cover?

Eight hours of lessons, a warm-up lesson on the day of your test, and use of the car for the test itself, for $770. If you have already done your hours elsewhere, the car hire package on its own is $220 and includes a one-hour warm-up.

Will a package guarantee I pass?

No, and no driving school can promise that. Your test is assessed independently by Service NSW. What structured lessons do is make sure nothing on test day is something you are meeting for the first time, which is the part genuinely within your control.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Let Ashraf know as early as you can on 02 8277 9091 and he will do his best to move the lesson to another time. He will confirm the notice period that applies when you book.
